Here is a simple principle to keep in mind: Computers cannot harvest confidential human secrets. Outside science fiction movies, a human’s cognitive history or connected experience cannot be determined or decrypted. If an individual has not shared an experience, action, or event, it is a security diamond. Now, say for instance, I come up with a new word: “pinkle”. If I tell a Sentry about my new word, and nobody else is privy to this conversation, the AI Sentry can now use this secret word to identify me. Perhaps I share an improvisational poem, never published or recited with a Sentry: “Guide me to peerless prose which Athena might see, for sir, if knowledge is a virtue, bury me”. When a Sentry is armed with secrets, security becomes boolean. Should I allow this person to enter? Yes, they provided the correct secrets via video chat.
Safety(2): Digital data is not propagated on the web or archived in cloud-based data centers. Images are not scanned, keystrokes are not recorded, and device screenshots are not created. You are free to work in a local digital world, without oversight.
Data Ownership (3): Digital assets created and stored in Town are not used for LLM training. Your digital data does not leave town. You can Trust AI Sheriff ™.
Privacy (4): Working with AI Sheriff ™, you decide who can enter Town. Period. The number of people with access to digital data within town is wholly determined by the subscriber.
